Fork It!

Beta’s always been about community, and in a first, this year’s Splice Beta will be a community-led effort, Splice Beta 2026: Fork It! In the tech world, forking means taking something someone else built, and then building on top of it to make something new.

From the very start Splice Beta has been a welcoming space for creators, innovators, media entrepreneurs, and anyone who cares about the future of media to connect, share, and inspire each other. It’s served as a force multiplier, a mission amplifier, and the debut stage for fresh ideas, exciting startups, and people who might have been reluctant to step onto any other stage.

In that spirit, we (Yan Naung Oak and Carl Javier) are leading a cast of familiar faces who’ve been part of the Beta community to fork the amazing work that Alan and Rishad started.
